- If a current that exceeds the allowable operating current passes through this NTC thermistor, what happens to the thermistor?
If a current that exceeds the allowable operating current passes through the NTC thermistor, its temperature sensing accuracy is degraded. Use this thermistor with a current that does not exceed the allowable operating current.

- When measuring the resistance of this NTC thermistor, how much current should be passed through the thermistor?
Use a current 1/10 to 1/20 of the allowable operating current for reference. (Since the resistance of the NTC thermistor is high at low temperatures, even a small current flow causes the thermistor to generate heat. Therefore, when measuring the resistance, the lowest possible temperature of the equipment must be taken into consideration. Refer to the data on resistance-temperature characteristic.)

- Are there any precautions to take when selecting an adhesive agent to fix this NTC thermistor to the object to be measured?
Heat expands and contracts resin, applying stress to the thermistor element. Therefore, elastic resin (resin with high heat conductivity such as those with silicone) must be used. Thoroughly evaluate whether the adhesive agent can be used, and then contact us.

- Are there any precautions to take when packaging this NTC thermistor with resin?

- Are there any precautions to take when soldering this NTC thermistor leads?
This NTC thermistor element and leads are soldered together. Because of this, solder the leads at a point 5mm or more away from the lead's root so that the joints between the element and lead are not affected. In addition, make sure that the soldering iron does not come into contact with the thermistor body.
