Piezoelectric
Noise Characteristic |
 |
 |
 |
When force is
applied to the sensor's detecting surface, or when the sensor case has
a dent that touches the element, a voltage will be generated. The
sensors have a space between the case and the elements to prevent
applied force from being conveyed to the elements. |

factors |
 |
- The pushing pressure of the transport roller (rubber
roller) in contact with the sensor's detecting surface is 0.49 N or
more.
- The material of the transport mechanism that touches
the sensor is not rubber, but a hard material such as a leaf spring or
plastic.
- Equipment vibration
- Impact generated during high-speed transport of
target media (paper money)

* The sensors
have been designed in consideration of the above factors. However, how
the applied force is conveyed to the sensor varies depending on the
applied force, the sensor mounting method, and the conditions of the
equipment. For details, consult Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. |
