Gap Characteristic |
The sensor elements detect the change of magnetic flux density caused when the pulser passes in front of the sensor's detecting surface. The sensor converts this change into an output voltage.
The larger the gap, the lower the output voltage. The larger the module, the higher the output voltage. |
- The larger the module of a gear, the larger the tooth-to-tooth pitch. Therefore, the magnetic field generated by the sensor and tooth-to-tooth pitch rapidly fluctuates, increasing output voltage.
