The Murata EMI Filter Selection Simulator is able to simulate effects of EMIFIL® and Chip Capacitors.
This software is updated from ver.3.4.0 to ver.3.5.0 in April, 2008.
The users of the previous version are strongly recommended to update to this latest version.
What's new
- Fixed the problem that current waveform of point A is not correct on any simulation mode except for differential mode transmission circuit mode.
- Added some new products and removed some unrecommended products (Total 551 items).
Menu Window
- This can be done easily by using the mouse on your Windows interface.
- The results of simulation are shown in the charts of "Voltage-waveform" and "Voltage-Spectrum".
- Any simulating conditions are available by selecting filters, setting input/output signals, Driver/Receiver IC and Transmission Line.
- Filters can be selected with "Impedance-Frequency" or "IL-Frequency" charts.
- Provide a simulation function that select best suited filter.
Start Window
This window is displayed when the software starts up or when selecting "File" on the menu bar and choose "New Simulation".

Search Setup
- The software will recommend the most appropriate filter solution based on specified search condition.
Search Result
- The recommended Part will be displayed along with electrical characteristics, the voltage waveform and spectrum chart.
